Preparing children ages 3-5 for Spanish immersion Kindergarten and beyond

Why Families Choose CASA

At Castillo Azul Spanish Academy, children are immersed in meaningful Spanish experiences through movement, music, stories, hands-on learning and daily interactions.
Research shows that early childhood is one of the most important stages for language acquisition. Learning a second language like Spanish at a young age helps children develop communication skills, confidence, cultural awareness and strong foundation for future bilingual learning.
Castillo Azul Spanish Academy was created with the vision of helping preschool children build the Spanish foundation needed to feel confident and prepared as they transition into Spanish Immersion and Dual Language programs in elementary school.

When should I call to register my child?

We encourage families to contact us as early as possible, as our small group Spanish Immersion classes fill quickly. Because we intentionally keep our class sizes limited, availability may be very limited once enrollment opens.

When does preschool start? Can I enroll mid-year?

Our academy program follows a 10-month academic school year from August through May, with a summer Immersion Program offered during June and July. Because we intentionally keep our class sizes small, mid-year enrollment is based on availability. We encourage families to contact us directly for current openings.

How old does my child need to be to attend to CASA?

CASA welcomes children ages 3 to 5 years old into our academy program. Children must be 3 years old by September 1st to enroll. Our summer Immersion Program is open to children 3 to 7 years old by June 1st.

Does my child have to be potty trained?

Yes. Children enrolled in our academy program should be independently potty trained before the first day of school. If you have any questions about your child's readiness we are always to guide and support families through the transition. We also provide helpful potty-training resources to support parents during the process.

What is your teaching philosophy?

At Castillo Azul Spanish Academy, we believe children learn best through meaningful connection, exploration, movement, play, and daily language immersion. Our whole-child approach supports each child's social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development in a warm and nurturing environment where Spanish is naturally lived throughout the day.

Inspired by developmentally appropriate early childhood practices and language acquisition principles, our program balances teacher-guided learning with hands-on, child-centered experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, creativity, and independence. Through stories, music, movement, art, and interactive learning, children naturally develop Spanish communication Skills while building a strong foundation for Spanish immersion kindergarten and beyond.

Are there additional fees during the year?

Our Enrollment & Materials Fee is designed to cover the majority of your child's classroom experiences throughout the school year, including classroom supplies, hands-on learning materials, field trips, field trips, student Welcome Kit, official CASA t-shit, and end-of-year student portfolio.

We strive to provide families with a simple and transparent tuition structure, so there are very additional costs throughout the school year. Occasionally, optional special events or enrichment experiences may be offered to families.

What if my child has food restrictions?

We understand that some children may have food allergies, sensitivities, or dietary restrictions, and we work closely with families to help create a safe classroom environment for all students. Families are responsible for providing their child's daily snacks and informing us of any allergies or medical concerns prior to the start of the school year.

In situations involving severe allergies, additional classroom precautions may be implemented to help support student safety.

Is the registration fee refundable?

No. The Enrollment & Materials Fee is non-refundable, as it reserves your child's placement in our program and allows us to prepare classroom materials, students supplies, learning resources, and special items for the school year.

How many students do you have per class?

At CASA we intentionally maintain small classes sizes to foster meaningful relationships. individualized attention, and natural language development through daily Spanish immersion. Our academy classes are typically limited to approximately 10 students per class.
